Shokhrukh Mirzayev

This study evaluates the endogenous drivers of economic growth in Kashkadarya region using statistical data from 2010–2025 through neuro-fuzzy (ANFIS) and multilayer perceptron (MLP) models. Household income, traditional and digital infrastructure were selected as key indicators. The ANFIS model achieved high accuracy (R² = 0.977; RMSE = 0.40; MAPE = 7.8%), effectively capturing nonlinear economic relationships. A 3D surface plot highlighted the strong synergy between digital infrastructure and income. In comparison, the MLP model yielded slightly lower accuracy. The results suggest that investing in digital infrastructure and applying endogenous modeling approaches are crucial for strategic planning

THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF ECONOMETRIC MODELING OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Farrukh Qodirov

Ensuring sustainable and inclusive development of regional economies stands as a central challenge for contemporary economic policy and regional planning. This paper develops the theoretical foundations for econometric modeling of regional development, aiming to provide a rigorous methodological framework for quantifying growth drivers and producing reliable forecasts of regional economic performance. The primary objective is to specify and justify econometric models that capture both the long-run relationships and short-run dynamics among core regional indicators (GRDP, industrial output, retail turnover, investment inflows, employment and income levels, and institutional variables). The theoretical discussion integrates perspectives from neoclassical growth theory, endogenous growth models, institutional economics and evolutionary economics to frame the empirical strategy

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN REDUCING DISPARITIES IN REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Temur Egamov

This article examines the significance of digital transformation in reducing disparities in regional economic development. The introduction highlights the relevance of the issue and contemporary trends, while the literature review analyzes a number of scientific articles from recent years. The methodology encompasses a systematic literature review (SLR) based on PRISMA guidelines and empirical modeling (panel regression, GMM, threshold models). The results demonstrate the positive impact of digital transformation on mitigating regional imbalances (e.g., stimulating GDP growth with a coefficient of 0.59), but reveal a U-shaped effect (turning point at 0.358) and infrastructure deficiencies. The conclusion emphasizes the potential of digital technologies, contingent upon policy measures and inclusivity, and provides policy, practical, and research recommendations.

ANALYSIS OF MODELING AND FORECASTING PRODUCTION VOLUMES IN THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
Saodat Sharipova

This article analyzes the development trends of the chemical industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the dynamics of production volumes, and the possibilities of modeling this process. The study empirically evaluates the elasticity of production volume in relation to investment and employment levels based on the Cobb–Douglas production function. A classical linear regression model was constructed using statistical data from 2010 to 2023, and analyses were conducted in the Stata software. Regression results indicate that the growth in production volume is more closely associated with the increase in labor resources. Additionally, forecast values for 2024–2028 were calculated using an autoregressive (AR) model, demonstrating a steady growth in chemical product output. The results of the study hold significant practical importance for strategic management of the chemical industry and for shaping investment policy.
