This article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the training system for production workers at garment manufacturing enterprises in Uzbekistan, the identification of existing problems, and the development of well-founded proposals for its improvement. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that, within the context of Uzbekistan’s garment manufacturing enterprises, the current state of the worker training system has been comprehensively analyzed, experimental studies have been conducted, and a system of practical recommendations has been developed through the integration of international and domestic experience. The approaches proposed in the article may be used by managers of garment manufacturing enterprises, HR managers, as well as faculty members of higher education institutions providing training for the industry, as methodological material for optimizing training programs, making investment decisions, and enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.

The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of implementing outsourcing in manufacturing enterprises. The definition, types, advantages, and modern practices of outsourcing are illustrated with examples. The importance of outsourcing in enhancing enterprise competitiveness, efficient resource allocation, and the implementation of innovations is emphasized. Based on scientific research and practical experience, strategies for introducing outsourcing, delegating non-core functions to external specialists, and ways to improve production efficiency are presented.

In this article, the issues of effective development of the innovative potential of a manufacturing enterprise in the context of the digital economy are analyzed from a scientific-theoretical and practical point of view. The study highlights the influence of digital technologies, human capital, financial and organizational resources on the innovative potential of the enterprise. The level of digitalization of production processes, indicators of innovation activity, and their impact on efficiency were also studied. The article develops recommendations for increasing the efficiency of resource use, improving management and innovation processes through the implementation of digital transformation, automated systems, "Big Data," IoT, and artificial intelligence technologies

This article examines the issues of assessing organizational and economic efficiency and analyzing human resource policy in toy manufacturing enterprises. The research focuses on the activities of “Green Line Toys” LLC and “Toys City” LLC. The study analyzes workforce size, age and position structure, wage policy, management costs, and financial performance over the period 2021–2025. Economic-statistical, comparative, and dynamic analysis methods were applied in the research process. The findings indicate that significant changes in workforce size and structure particularly during periods of intensified automation have a direct impact on the financial stability and profitability of enterprises. The study confirms that a balanced HR policy and effective optimization of management costs play a crucial role in improving organizational and economic efficiency

This article develops a comprehensive methodology for assessing the development level of railway manufacturing enterprises. The study is grounded in the Industry 4.0 paradigm, digital transformation, and sustainable development concepts. The Integral Development Index (IDI) methodology encompasses six criterion groups  production efficiency, financial stability, innovation activity, digital transformation, human capital, and environmental sustainability. Quantitative and qualitative indicators are defined for each group, with weight coefficients determined using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Approbation results are presented using Uzbekistan's railway industry as a case study

In this work, issues of increasing the efficiency of the use of production resources at pharmaceutical industry enterprises are analyzed from a scientific-theoretical and practical point of view. The study highlights the role and importance of raw material and material resources, fixed assets, labor, financial, and intellectual resources in pharmaceutical production. Also, the current state and development dynamics of resource use in the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan were assessed, and existing problems were identified. Recommendations have been developed for technological modernization aimed at increasing production efficiency, introducing digital management systems, applying the principles of GMP and "Lean manufacturing," expanding the local raw material base, and developing personnel potential. It is substantiated that the implementation of these proposals will serve to reduce production costs, improve product quality and safety, ensure competitiveness and sustainable development of enterprises.

This article emphasizes the significant importance of the increasing number of large food service enterprises in the food sector. The emergence of large manufacturing enterprises in the food service sector is leading not only to the creation of new jobs but also to the introduction of new types of services. Such large manufacturing enterprises are highly developed in foreign countries, and the study of these large food service enterprises will help us understand the extent of operations of such enterprises in our country.

This article proposes an integrated multi-criteria methodology for assessing the efficiency of innovation and investment activities using the example of sports equipment manufacturing enterprises. This article is dedicated to the economic indicators of handicraft activities in Uzbekistan and the introduction of digital technologies into the sector, analyzing the role and significance of handicrafts in the national economy. The opportunities to enhance the efficiency of product manufacturing and sales through digital technologies are explored. The prospects for the development of handicrafts through the implementation of innovations and IT solutions in the sector are also examined. In conclusion, recommendations are provided to strengthen the role of digital technologies in the handicraft industry.

This study examines the determinants of economic growth across five Central Asian transition economies; Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan; over the period 1990–2024, with particular focus on the role of energy consumption. Using a panel dataset of 170 observations drawn from World Bank indicators, the analysis integrates energy consumption, financial development, industrialization, and trade openness into a unified panel data framework. Given a non-standard Hausman test result stemming from high intra-class correlation, the fixed-effects model is adopted as the preferred specification on theoretical grounds, with random-effects estimates reported for comparative transparency. The fixed-effects results reveal that financial development is the strongest and most consistent driver of within-country GDP per capita growth, followed by industrialization measured by manufacturing value-added. Energy consumption exerts a significant positive effect, consistent with the growth hypothesis of the energy-growth nexus, though its modest coefficient suggests diminishing returns within countries over time. Trade openness, by contrast, is negatively associated with GDP per capita, reflecting the adverse consequences of poorly sequenced liberalization in economies with limited institutional capacity and export diversification. These findings contribute original empirical evidence on the energy-growth nexus in the post-Soviet Central Asian context, offering policy-relevant insights for financial sector deepening, industrial upgrading, energy efficiency investment, and strategic trade integration across the region

Every task performed is ultimately a product of human effort, and the efficiency of that effort directly reflects in the company’s economic performance indicators. This article explores the critical connection between workforce management and economic sustainability, covering key aspects of personnel policy, including the formation of a healthy and capable team, the composition and qualifications of personnel based on demographic factors, and their strategic placement within the production process. It highlights the importance of timely adaptation to changes in production and working conditions, alongside the integration of scientific and technological advancements, and the promotion of novel production techniques. Furthermore, the article provides a case study analyzing the current state of workforce utilization within a specific economic entity, culminating in actionable recommendations aimed at optimizing employee contributions, especially their intellectual and physical potential.

The spread of new products in the markets and their constant improvement create problems for market participants associated with product innovations. The spread of technological progress throughout the world has led to the convergence of the quality and technical characteristics of products manufactured in different regions. In such circumstances, the role of costs in achieving a competitive advantage and sustainable development has increased. There is a need to use costs economically and manage them effectively. The use of modern cost management methods is a particularly urgent task for the purpose of effectively organizing costs and increasing the competitiveness of products. Today, scientists in developed countries have developed a number of modern methods of planning and managing costs, and a comprehensive study of these methods and their application to the activities of business entities is an important task. This scientific work attempts to understand the modern methods of cost management currently used.

This article highlights the theoretical and practical aspects of maintaining a separate accounting policy in economic sectors, its adaptation to international and national standards, and the importance of sector-specific approaches. The processes of reforming the accounting and financial reporting system in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in particular the gradual implementation of IFRS standards, are analyzed. The study examines the specific features, challenges, and opportunities of accounting policies in agriculture, industry, services, and the banking-finance sector. International and national practices are compared, and methodological recommendations tailored to the sector are developed.
