The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of implementing “green standards” in the hospitality industry, examines international practices, and explores the prospects for their application in Uzbekistan. The study focuses on key areas such as environmental sustainability, efficient resource use, and energy efficiency in hotel operations. Based on international experience (Japan, Sweden, South Africa, Denmark, and Singapore), the research identifies successful models of “green hotels” and develops scientifically grounded recommendations for their integration into the national framework. The paper also proposes practical measures for improving Uzbekistan’s environmental standards, aligning the national standard “Hospitality Industry Criteria” with international requirements, and introducing a “green hotel model” based on national design concepts
This article highlights the fact that commercial banks depend on several factors, such as the development of banking operations by improving monetary policy, constant adaptation to socio-economic conditions, the development of new strategies and tools for banking activities, effective management of banking risks, and the development of banking currency operations by reducing problematic processes. Also, today, the relevance of the development of commercial banks is indisputable, since the successful functioning of the entire financial system of the country depends on it, taking into account the existing problems in making financial decisions in banks and reducing problematic processes, as well as the author's approaches and suggestions for their elimination
This article examines the economic and organizational advantages of transitioning small businesses to cashless operations. Based on the experiences of China, Japan, and Germany, the impact of digital payment system development on small business activities during 2020–2024 is analyzed. The study also discusses the prospects and positive outcomes of promoting digital payments among small businesses in Uzbekistan. The research results show that cashless operations contribute to enhancing financial transparency, reducing operational costs, expanding the tax base, and increasing customer loyalty
This article focuses on analyzing the return on equity (ROE) indicator as a key measure of the efficiency of commercial banks in Uzbekistan. The study examines differences in ROE across four types of bank ownership structures for the period 1999-2023. The findings indicate that banks with indirect state ownership had the highest average ROE, whereas those with direct state ownership showed the lowest capital profitability. Private banks exhibited high volatility, suggesting a higher risk profile in their operations. Meanwhile, foreign banks demonstrated a stable level of capital efficiency, with an improving trend in recent years. This research provides insights into policies and strategies aimed at enhancing the efficiency of commercial banks in Uzbekistan.
The article theoretically highlights the fact that increasing the production capacity of industrial enterprises in the regions and introducing new infrastructures is one of the current topical issues, the classification of results achieved through the use of new innovations in the industrial system, the structure of economic-mathematical modeling, the structure of algorithmic technologies used in the implementation of economic-mathematical modeling, economic-statistical methods and analysis tools, the organization of a mechanism for using mathematical modeling and optimization, and the requirements for scientific substantiation of new decision-making sources in industrial development, and provides conclusions and proposals in this regard.
This article examines the digital transformation of Islamic financial instruments, the methodological framework for their implementation in Uzbekistan, and their alignment with international best practices. The study demonstrates that digital technologies including blockchain, smart contracts, tokenization, e-KYC, and API integration enhance transparency, operational efficiency, and Shariah compliance in Islamic financial operations. A comparative assessment of Malaysia, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia provides insights into the legal, technical, and methodological requirements needed to develop a national digital Islamic finance model. The findings highlight the importance of establishing digital Shariah audit mechanisms, defining the legal status of smart contracts, developing tokenization regulations, and creating a Shariah-compliant fintech ecosystem to ensure sustainable sectoral development

This study examines customer service management regarding Uzbek gastronomy and the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction. Research was conducted through an online quantitative survey in Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara. Data was obtained from patrons who had recently visited local restaurants. Important service parameters such as order fulfillment, pricing, and customer care were evaluated. Analyzing response patterns, clients value gaining accurate orders at competitive prices. Improvement recommendations catered to clearer menus, faster service, and increased staff attention. Clients have a reasonably high appreciation of traditional hospitality. However, clients tend to value systematized and professional service as well. Applying universal service theories to a particularistic rich culture setting contributes to hospitality scholarship. Alongside, ethnic restaurants’ managers aiming towards greater patron satisfaction while maintaining cultural integrity are provided with useful guidance
