In this work, issues of increasing the efficiency of the use of production resources at pharmaceutical industry enterprises are analyzed from a scientific-theoretical and practical point of view. The study highlights the role and importance of raw material and material resources, fixed assets, labor, financial, and intellectual resources in pharmaceutical production. Also, the current state and development dynamics of resource use in the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan were assessed, and existing problems were identified. Recommendations have been developed for technological modernization aimed at increasing production efficiency, introducing digital management systems, applying the principles of GMP and "Lean manufacturing," expanding the local raw material base, and developing personnel potential. It is substantiated that the implementation of these proposals will serve to reduce production costs, improve product quality and safety, ensure competitiveness and sustainable development of enterprises.
This article analyzes the development trends of the chemical industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the dynamics of production volumes, and the possibilities of modeling this process. The study empirically evaluates the elasticity of production volume in relation to investment and employment levels based on the Cobb–Douglas production function. A classical linear regression model was constructed using statistical data from 2010 to 2023, and analyses were conducted in the Stata software. Regression results indicate that the growth in production volume is more closely associated with the increase in labor resources. Additionally, forecast values for 2024–2028 were calculated using an autoregressive (AR) model, demonstrating a steady growth in chemical product output. The results of the study hold significant practical importance for strategic management of the chemical industry and for shaping investment policy.

It highlights the importance of timely adaptation to changes in production and working conditions, alongside the integration of scientific and technological advancements, and the promotion of novel production techniques. Furthermore, the article provides a case study analyzing the current state of workforce utilization within a specific economic entity, culminating in actionable recommendations aimed at optimizing employee contributions, especially their intellectual and physical potential.
This article analyzes modern trends in the development of the construction materials industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan and covers theoretical and practical aspects of organizing production processes on the principles of quality management. The importance of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 in the implementation of quality management systems, its impact on economic efficiency and competitiveness, is scientifically based. During 2018-2024, analytical tables were formed on the volume of production of building materials, export indicators and the share of enterprises with ISO standards, revealing their dynamics of change. The study examines the economic essence of labor productivity, the key factors influencing it, and issues related to the efficient organization of production processes. Furthermore, the paper substantiates the opportunities for increasing labor efficiency through the introduction of modern technologies, automation, improvement of employee qualifications, and the development of effective motivation systems. The economic impact of increasing labor productivity is also scientifically justified, particularly its role in reducing production costs, lowering product cost price, and increasing profit and profitability. The article examines the improvement of methodological support for auditing production costs at oil and gas processing enterprises. Particular attention is given to the assessment of risks of material misstatement, analysis of the internal control system, and application of International Standards on Auditing. The article presents an econometric analysis of trends in the development of industrial infrastructure in the Kashkadarya region. Based on the parameters of the production function, which expresses the dependence of the volume of industrial production on the cost of fixed assets and the amount of labor resources, an econometric model was created, and the reliability of the model was assessed. This article analyzes the sectoral structure of agriculture in Central Asian countries, highlighting its historical foundations and modern development trends. Using the cases of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, the study examines the main agricultural sectors, crop production and livestock farming. Based on statistical data, the paper evaluates the efficiency of grain production, livestock outputs, fisheries, and forestry activities. Special attention is given to the challenges posed by water scarcity, climate change, and institutional constraints affecting agricultural sustainability. The findings suggest that diversification, innovative agro-technologies, and regional specialization are essential for ensuring food security and sustainable development in the region.
This scientific study provides an in-depth analysis of the factors influencing the management efficiency of free economic zones (FEZs) in the Republic of Uzbekistan, assessing their contribution to socio-economic development using mathematical modeling. Using the Jizzakh Free Economic Zone as a case study, the research identifies key factors affecting production volume from 2015 to 2024 — namely, foreign investment and employment levels. The study employs the Cobb-Douglas production function to construct a classical linear regression model, along with an autoregressive (AR) model, correlation-regression analysis, and evaluation through Fisher’s criterion, Student’s t-test, and the Durbin-Watson statistic.
In recent years, agricultural production has become increasingly challenging due to climate change, land degradation, and environmental pollution. The application of sustainable agricultural practices is viewed as a viable solution to these issues. Calculating the sustainability index of agricultural producers can serve as a useful tool in identifying appropriate solutions. This study develops and applies a methodology for the quantitative assessment of the Sustainable Agriculture Practices (SAP) Index, based on survey data collected from 300 wheat-producing farm enterprises in the Samarkand region. The findings indicate that the average sustainability index among the surveyed farms is 0.34, suggesting that the production practices employed by these farms are characterized by a low level of sustainability.
