THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF RETAIL BANKING SERVICES

This article theoretically argues that digital transformation is a strategic necessity for banks to remain competitive with fintech companies as a result of rapid technological advancements in digital transformation. In addition, the theoretical foundations of digital transformation in retail banking are critically examined, and the main principles of diffusion of innovation theory, resource-based view (RBV), institutional theory, service-oriented logic (SDL), technology adoption models, and dynamic capabilities are extensively analyzed. It is argued that digital transformation is not just about implementing digital tools, but also about creating value, delivering services, working with customers, improving efficiency, and increasing interbank competitiveness. By analyzing a large body of scientific literature, the study identifies gaps in existing theoretical frameworks and attempts to identify how banks can adapt to the digital economy, increase investment in innovation, and become digitally mature. Such analyses contribute to the field both scientifically and practically by offering comprehensive development models to understand the systemic and multidimensional dynamics of digital transformation in retail banking.

Proper placement and visual presentation of goods plays an important role in increasing sales efficiency, attracting customer attention, and stimulating purchasing activity. The study analyzes the experience of various retail enterprises and provides practical recommendations for optimizing the territory, segmenting product categories, and increasing sales through exhibition design, promotional materials, and visual merchandising methods. The article is useful for retail sales managers, sales specialists, and marketing researchers, and is aimed at the effective application of technologies for the placement and presentation of goods in modern shopping areas.

FORECAST OF UZBEKISTAN’S E-COMMERCE MARKET DEVELOPMENT THROUGH 2035

This article develops a forward-looking outlook for Uzbekistan’s e-commerce market through 2035 and examines the main determinants of both growth speed and quality. It discusses key drivers such as the expansion of digital payments and e-government services, upgrades in logistics infrastructure, rising mobile internet penetration, the scaling of marketplace ecosystems, and the intensification of cross-border trade, alongside evolving regulation and consumer protection. The paper applies a scenario-based framework (baseline, accelerated, and inertial) to evaluate how macroeconomic conditions, competition dynamics in digital markets, and the adoption of data and AI technologies may reshape online retail. Special attention is paid to structural constraints, including consumer trust, cybersecurity risks, last-mile delivery performance, the digital divide, and capability gaps among SMEs. This article systematically analyzes the factors affecting the development of small business and entrepreneurship in the Kashkadarya region. The purpose of the study is to determine the role of the small business sector in economic growth in the region, its contribution to industry, agriculture, construction, services and foreign trade indicators. Statistical analysis, comparative and trend analysis, as well as a review of scientific literature and complex processing of practical data were used as research methodologies. The results showed that small business plays an important role in the stability of the regional economy, but there is a need to further strengthen the investment environment, infrastructure and innovative development factors. At the end of the article, scientifically based conclusions and practical proposals were developed to support small business and entrepreneurship in the Kashkadarya region.

STATE FINANCIAL APPROACHES TO INCREASING THE EXPORT OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTS: THE EXPERIENCE OF UZBEKISTAN

This study examines the key directions of financial support mechanisms available to exporting enterprises engaged in foreign economic activities in the Republic of Uzbekistan. These mechanisms encompass the implementation of international standards and certification processes, the registration of national products and brands (trademarks) with foreign regulatory bodies, the establishment and maintenance of trade houses, financial assistance for leasing office, retail, and warehouse spaces abroad, participation in international exhibitions and trade fairs, and the promotion of local products and brands through digital marketing. Based on a comprehensive analysis of these support measures, the study formulates evidence-based proposals and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of state interventions in facilitating export activities.
