The article explores the theoretical and practical aspects of strategic planning as the tool for ensuring the effective development of the industrial sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The evolution of strategic theory, the goals and objectives of strategic management for industrial enterprises, as well as the features of forming the modern system of strategic planning in the country have been reviewed. The legal and regulatory framework for strategic management, including the "Uzbekistan – 2030" Strategy, the updated Strategy for 2026–2030, and other documents regulating the implementation of the unified system of strategic planning and development have been analyzed. Based on the analysis of the dynamics of industrial production and gross domestic product, the role of the industrial sector in achieving the strategic benchmarks of social and economic development in the Republic of Uzbekistan has been justified. This article develops a quadrant model of strategic planning of industrial agglomerations in the region and provides practical justification for it using the example of the Kashkadarya region. The article discusses the fact that segmentation in the optimization of industrial sectors is one of the current topical issues, and provides a comprehensive overview of the analytical reviews of the GMM model and K-means in segmentation. A comparative review of the K-Means and GMM methods in segmentation is fully analyzed. In the direction of the “Flowchart” of generalization of the GMM and K-means methods, the “New GMM Method” algorithm and the implementation algorithm of the Improved Hybrid Segmentation Model (HSM) are developed. Conclusions and suggestions are given on the hybrid approach to optimal segmentation of industrial sectors.
This article focuses on analyzing the growth of China's industry during the period from 1992 to 2023 and calculating its forecast for the next 5 years. The aim of the article is to examine the short-term and long-term relationships between China's industrial development and the economic indicators of the selected factors. A quantitative method was applied in the study. To analyze the industry that characterizes economic development and the macroeconomic factors influencing this indicator, econometric time series models were used, including OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) and VAR.

This article examines the problems and solutions for coordinating industrial cargo transportation between railway and road transport in Uzbekistan. This article examines the organizational and economic mechanism for improving the efficiency of industrial enterprises using the leather industry in Uzbekistan as an example. Based on an analysis of the current state of the industry (production volume in 2024: 3.8 trillion soums, exports: $42.8 million), key issues like technological lag, low share of finished products with high added value, ineffective tax and customs policies for raw material exports, and a shortage of qualified personnel are identified. Areas for improving this mechanism are proposed, including optimizing state support, stimulating deep processing, technological modernization, and developing human resources. Implementation of these proposals will increase exports to $320 million by 2030 and enhance the competitiveness of Uzbek leather in the international market
