The creation of interactive geoinformation maps in investment processes has been effectively utilized in foreign practices, serving to provide open access to important information for investors. Egypt's industrial investment map is a good example, offering real-time data on infrastructure, resources, and industrial zones to investors. This approach helps in making efficient investment decisions and supports economic growth. Uzbekistan can also adopt this method to enhance its attractiveness for investment.
This article examines the scientific and methodological foundations for applying Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies to the spatial allocation of export-oriented production zones and the enhancement of regional export potential. The study evaluates the spatial distribution of economic, transport-logistics, infrastructure, and investment indicators using GIS-based analysis. International experience in the application of interactive investment maps and geospatial technologies is reviewed, highlighting their role in supporting investment decision-making and improving export infrastructure. Based on the analysis of gross regional product and industrial output per capita across the regions of Uzbekistan, regional disparities are identified and recommendations for strengthening export potential are proposed. The findings demonstrate that GIS technologies provide an effective analytical tool for regional planning, spatial decision-making, and the efficient placement of export-oriented manufacturing facilities
This article analyzes the current state of the establishment and development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Uzbekistan. It highlights the role of SEZs in the national economy, as well as their importance in attracting investments, promoting industrial development, increasing export potential, and creating new employment opportunities. Furthermore, the legal and institutional foundations of SEZ operations, existing challenges, and priority directions for their improvement are examined. The study also analyzes the factors contributing to the enhancement of the economic efficiency of SEZs and explores their future development prospects based on international experience
