TOURISM POTENTIAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN

According to statistical data, as well as the results of a sociological study (in the period December - March 2024), to determine the positive and negative reasons influencing the development of domestic tourism, it was revealed that the Republic of Karakalpakstan is the least popular among tourists (excursionists). This article provides detailed analysis of current issues of tourism development in Karakalpakstan, current circumstances and future plans. Also, the article highlights the state  of tourism infrastructure in the districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan by grouping and comparing statistical data.

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE DYNAMICS AND TRENDS OF MORTALITY RATES IN THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN

This article examines the dynamics of absolute and relative mortality rates of the
population of the Republic of Karakalpakstan over a 20-year period, and compares the position of these indicators in cities and villages. Also, in the context of regional cities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, mortality rates were analyzed through cross-comparison, the indicators of regional cities were examined based on international criteria, and the causes of death of the deceased were analyzed. In addition, the dynamics of infant mortality in the Republic of Karakalpakstan was studied and an analysis was carried out of the causes of death by year, as well as those who died under the age of 1 year. A comparison and analysis of the dynamics of life expectancy at birth in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in recent years has been carried out, and
conclusions and proposals have been made based on all the analyses.

THE ROLE OF SMALL BUSINESS IN THE ECONOMY OF KARAKALPAKSTAN

The purpose of this article is to determine the role of small business in the national
economy of Karakalpakstan. Statistical data for 2015-2022 were used to solve this problem. The article shows the role of small business for the national economies of developed and developing countries, a comparative analysis is carried out on such characteristics as employment, the structure of small business according to macroeconomic indicators, the contribution of small business to the replenishment of the budget and extra-budgetary funds. The problems of comparing statistical data on small business in Karakalpakstan are shown. A special feature of the article is the consideration of self-employment as a structural element of small business in
Karakalpakstan.

DEVELOPING TOURS THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF GASTRONOMIC TOURISM IN THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN

This article analyzes the development of gastronomic tourism in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, exploring its potential, current conditions for the tourism sector, Karakalpak gastronomic tourism resources, as well as the development of gastronomic tours and creation of tourist programs for the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The main focus is on promoting national dishes related to Karakalpak gastronomic tourism resources, incorporating them into tourism programs, and attracting tourists. Additionally, factors influencing the development of Karakalpak gastronomic tourism and some recommendations are discussed. Furthermore, based on research, the author has designed a 4-night, 5-day tour titled "Kingdom of Fortresses-Karakalpakstan" along with its cost calculation.

MODERN TECHNOLOGIES OF SESAME CULTIVATION IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN AND THEIR IMPACT ON ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY

This article analyzes the agrotechnical and economic efficiency of sesame cultivation in the areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan with high salinity. Also, the research work has compared the sowing indicators and yields of sesame variety "Tashkent-122" on May 15 and June 15, and it was found that sowing on May 15 is the most effective time. According to the results of the economic analysis, sowing on May 15 brought 41.8% higher income than on June 15. This result indicates the importance of choosing the right sowing date and seed rate, and on this basis, proposals and recommendations have been developed to optimize sesame cultivation in the conditions of Karakalpakstan and increase economic efficiency.

INCREASING HOTEL OCCUPANCY RATES IN KARAKALPAK REGION

Karakalpakstan region, Uzbekistan. The study examined various strategies and approaches to solving this problem, including marketing initiatives, improving service quality, developing infrastructure, attracting investment and strengthening partnerships. The author proposes an integrated approach to increasing hotel occupancy, which can contribute to the development of tourism in the region.

STATE AND TRENDS OF THE MOVEMENT OF INVENTORY RESOURCES IN THE COMMODITY MARKET OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the state of the movement of commodity and material resources in the commodity market of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015–2024, the dynamics of macroeconomic indicators and the composition of foreign trade using comparative and statistical analysis methods. The main objective of the study is to assess structural changes in the commodity market, identify existing problems related to logistics and import dependence, and develop scientifically based recommendations for the development of the sector. The results of the analysis show that during the period under study, the country's GDP increased by 72.6%, and foreign trade turnover by 177%. In addition, the volume of digital trade increased by an average annual rate of 40.2%, becoming the most promising segment of the commodity market. At the same time, systemic problems such as the high share of raw materials in the export structure, high logistics costs, and economic disparity between regions (a 6.3-fold difference between the city of Tashkent and Karakalpakstan) remained. The research findings developed practical proposals aimed at improving import substitution policies, developing logistics infrastructure, and reducing regional inequality.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION STRUCTURE IN THE REGIONS OF UZBEKISTAN: ANALYSIS AND ECONOMIC PROSPECTS

The article provides a comparative analysis of energy efficiency and the structure of fuel and energy resource consumption (FER) by region in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on statistical data for 2024, significant interregional disparities have been identified: the energy efficiency indicator varies from 1.3% in the Andijan region to 8.0% in the Tashkent region. It was found that the high level of energy efficiency in a number of regions (Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya region) is associated with an excessive dependence on fossil fuels (more than 73%), which poses risks to environmental sustainability. Based on cluster analysis, groups of regions with similar consumption profiles were formed, for each of which differentiated policy measures were proposed. Recommendations are given on improving the efficiency of energy use, diversifying the energy balance and integrating digital solutions in the context of the transition to a “green economy”.

The article provides detailed reviews and analyzes of the perspective of artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan. The importance of artificial intelligence in the development of firms, companies, as well as in the fields of medicine, agriculture has been need by process of digitalization. Also, the demographic changes of the Republic of Uzbekistan were analyzed and forecast indicators for 2024-2030 were developed. Based on these forecast indicators, it was determined that by 2030, the demand of the population of the Republic for meat and dairy products will increase by 19.2%, and for milk products by 16.3%. To meet this demand, suggestions
and recommendations have been developed for the automation of livestock complexes based on digital technologies, the use of robotic CR-1 and MR-S2 remote-controlled digital technologies for increasing the milk yield of dairy cows

INCREASING THE FLOW OF TOURISTS TO THE PILGRIMAGE SITES OF KHOJALY, ELLIK KALA TAKHTAKOPIR DISTRICT

According to the measures for the rapid development of all sectors in the Republic of Karakalpakstan on the initiative of the head of our state, 2 types of activity have been designated as specific "growth points" in each district. From that, tourism and greenhouses were identified as the driver industries in Ellikkala district. It's not for nothing. Because the historical objects in the area - castles, are expected to become one of the main tourist destinations of Ellikkala. Of these, 21 listed castles are considered to be worthy of inclusion in the international tourism route today. In 2020, as the flow of tourists decreased significantly due to the coronavirus pandemic, more than 40,000 pilgrims and travelers visited the district in the direction of domestic tourism, "Norinjon Bobo", "Kechirmas Ota Ziratgohi and Shifo Maskani", archaeological monuments and other tourist facilities.
