The article provides a comparative analysis of energy efficiency and the structure of fuel and energy resource consumption (FER) by region in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on statistical data for 2024, significant interregional disparities have been identified: the energy efficiency indicator varies from 1.3% in the Andijan region to 8.0% in the Tashkent region. It was found that the high level of energy efficiency in a number of regions (Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya region) is associated with an excessive dependence on fossil fuels (more than 73%), which poses risks to environmental sustainability. Based on cluster analysis, groups of regions with similar consumption profiles were formed, for each of which differentiated policy measures were proposed. Recommendations are given on improving the efficiency of energy use, diversifying the energy balance and integrating digital solutions in the context of the transition to a “green economy”.

The article is devoted to identifying ways to improve the management accounting methodology of companies in the energy industry of Uzbekistan to increase the efficiency of their financial management. To do this, a regression analysis of the dependence of the availability and quality of provided electricity resources in Uzbekistan on the factors identified in the literature review is carried out based on World Bank statistics for 2003-2020. As a result, key areas of management accounting for companies in the energy industry of Uzbekistan have been identified, which have the greatest positive impact on the efficiency of their financial management. Taking into account the identified areas, the author's recommendations are proposed to improve the methodology of management accounting of energy industry companies in Uzbekistan to increase the efficiency of their financial management.

Improving the efficiency of resource use in the enterprises of the oil and gas industry is today one of the priorities for ensuring economic and environmental stability. This scientific study analyzes advanced technologies aimed at saving resources, automating production processes, improving energy efficiency and ensuring environmental sustainability in industrial enterprises. On the basis of world experience, strategic approaches to the effective use of resources are studied, the effectiveness of which is assessed economically and technologically. At the same time, the existing problems at the enterprises of the oil and gas industry of our country are analyzed and proposals and recommendations for their elimination are developed.

This article examines the prospects of implementing “green mortgage” programs in Uzbekistan and their economic effectiveness. Drawing on international experience, the study explores the advantages of green mortgages, including preferential interest rates, energy-efficiency certification systems, and refinancing mechanisms for banks. The findings indicate that green mortgage programs can significantly reduce energy consumption, modernize the housing stock, lower household expenses, and improve environmental sustainability. The article reveals the scientific and methodological foundations for implementing innovative activities in the service processes of telecommunication enterprises. It analyzes how, under the conditions of globalization, digital transformation, and the “Industry 4.0” paradigm, innovative approaches in servicing mobile devices, satellite communication systems, internet provider infrastructures, and 5G technologies enhance competition, improve service quality, flexibility, and energy efficiency. The paper also highlights trends in the expansion of digital infrastructure in Uzbekistan, the growth of 5G coverage areas, and the adoption of innovative platforms by national operators. Economic security is a key element of sustainable development, especially in the context of global changes associated with the transition to a «green economy». In the Republic of Uzbekistan, this process is becoming strategically important, given the need to optimize environmental management, increase energy efficiency and introduce innovative technologies. The article examines the main challenges and prospects for ensuring economic security in the context of the transition to a «green economy». Special attention is paid to the issues of economic diversification, the development of renewable energy sources, the improvement of the legislative framework and the strengthening of institutional mechanisms. The presented measures are aimed at creating conditions for sustainable growth, reducing the environmental burden and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy.

This paper provides an empirical analysis of the impact of economic growth, industrial development, foreign direct investment, and energy consumption on carbon dioxide emissions in Uzbekistan over the period 1991-2024, employing the ARDL and ECM frameworks. The results indicate that, in both the long and short run, economic growth is associated with improvements in environmental efficiency, whereas foreign direct investment is predominantly concentrated in emission-intensive sectors. The findings highlight the need to enhance industrial policy through strengthened institutional and investment mechanisms.

The article examines the role of green bonds and their subtype, green mortgage-backed securities, in the global financial market, as well as the prospects for their application in Uzbekistan. Green bonds are increasingly used as an important financial instrument that enables investors to channel funds into environmentally sustainable projects. In the United States, green mortgage-backed securities issued by major agencies play a leading role in financing the energy-efficient housing market. The experience of Europe, Canada, and Australia likewise demonstrates the steady international development of this instrument. In Uzbekistan, the green mortgage market is only beginning to take shape, being gradually introduced through national strategies, pilot projects supported by international financial institutions, and commercial bank products. The research findings indicate that green mortgage-backed securities are not only a source of financial returns, but also an important mechanism for combating climate change and supporting the transition to a sustainable economy.

The article examines the specifics and effectiveness of applying integration mechanisms in sensitive areas of bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The focus is placed on analyzing those areas of interaction that require a special approach to regulation and alignment of interests, including trade and economic relations, the energy sector, and migration. An assessment of the existing integration instruments is carried out, and institutional and organizational barriers limiting their effectiveness are identified. Particular attention is given to the potential for further deepening cooperation within the framework of Eurasian integration processes and the search for optimal models of interaction that contribute to the growth of mutual economic benefits. The findings and recommendations obtained may be used in shaping strategies for the development of Russian-Uzbek relations and improving integration policies in the region.

The article presents data on the state of total electricity losses and the norms of electricity losses in the electric networks of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The problem of calculating electricity losses has been worrying power engineers for a very long time. Today, there are not enough sources for determining and calculating electricity losses. Due to the complexity of calculating losses and the presence of serious errors, special attention has recently been paid to the development of methods for standardizing electricity losses. Therefore, the topic of analyzing electricity losses in regional electric networks and developing measures to reduce them remains relevant.

The article examines the scientific and practical aspects of ensuring sanitary and environmental conditions for residents through the optimization of insolation within a microdistrict. It is shown that insolation is one of the key factors in shaping a healthy and comfortable urban environment, directly influencing building energy efficiency, ecological balance, and architectural and urban planning solutions. Calculation methods are proposed based on building geometry, regional climatic features, and the use of mathematical modeling. The interrelations of sanitary, ecological, and demographic conditions in the optimization of microdistrict infrastructure are demonstrated. Practical examples from the city of Tashkent and international experience are analyzed. Recommendations have been developed for integrating insolation requirements into regional urban development programs.

The article examines the concept and essence of technical support, its role in evaluating promising projects, trends in the development of financing investment projects, issues of raising funds and factors influencing their timely development. The foreign experience of banks in attracting credit resources from international financial organizations has been studied. In addition, the possibilities of applying international experience in the field of technical evaluation of projects, ways of cooperation with international financial institutions such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) were considered.
