Taking this into account, this article focuses on the processes of assessment comparative information, obtaining reliable audit evidence on comparative information, and conducting analytical procedures. Also, based on the comparative analysis of the financial statements of economic entities, suggestions and recommendations are given for drawing reliable conclusions about their financial position.

This article highlights the specific features of Islamic banks' financial reporting. Financial statement forms are analyzed separately in accordance with the rules of conventional and Islamic accounting. Specifically, it highlights changes in the composition of the balance sheet, which reflects the financial position of an enterprise. The reasons for adding three additional financial statement forms to conventional accounting in Islamic accounting are explained in turn. The article also provides an example of a statement of changes in restricted investments. Finally, the article concludes with conclusions regarding the distribution of profits and losses in Islamic banks.

This article is dedicated to the financial analysis of Uzbekistan's banking sector, examining its current state, identifying challenges and shortcomings. The economic efficiency of banks in Uzbekistan is analyzed using examples of both state-owned and private financial institutions. The study explores the dominant market position of major state-owned banks, their share of assets and liabilities, as well as profitability indicators. Key issues and deficiencies hindering the development of the banking sector are also analyzed.
This article discusses the procedure for accounting for the sale of fixed assets and leasing them back according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The problem with this topic is that the issue of sale and leaseback is not currently applied in the practice of Uzbekistan and is new to us. The authors examined this issue in detail in the article with examples and accounting records. The tables presented were compiled by the authors of the article. The forms of the statement of financial position and the statement of profit or loss and other comprehensive income in a shortened form are taken from international practice in preparing financial statements. To resolve the issue, the double entry method in accounting was used. The merit of the authors is that the issue under consideration with examples, tables and report forms was made available to Uzbek accounting practitioners and other interested parties.

The article investigates the position of real estate in the investment portfolio of banks, the earnings generating mechanisms and the principal types of risks experienced at the investment stage. Particular attention is paid to the impact of real estate investments on the financial stability of banks. The empirical study is conducted using the example of Kapitalbank, highlighting the importance of a risk-oriented approach in managing real estate investments. The implications of the study are practical for improving investment strategies and enhancing asset quality in commercial banks.

Internal control, that is, audit service, has a special place and importance in increasing the competitiveness of commercial banks in the national economy, further strengthening their position in international integration and economic processes, as well as in checking and evaluating the compliance of banks activities with global requirements and standards. The above issues were considered in the article, suggestions and recommendations for improving the internal audit service were given.
