The article analyzes the economic foundations of Uzbekistan's integration into the international trading system, in particular, the policy of participation in the World Trade Organization. The study reveals the impact of trade agreements on exports, investments and competitiveness. The importance of inclusiveness, institutional coordination and stakeholder participation in the formation of trade policy based on international and regional experience is highlighted. The empirical analysis is carried out using a panel regression model based on data for Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for 2000–2024. The results show that WTO membership increases GDP by an average of 17%. It is also found that WTO membership improves the investment climate, increases export diversification and accelerates institutional reforms. According to the forecast analysis, by 2030, Uzbekistan's GDP could reach 245 billion US dollars under WTO membership. The article also focuses on the potential social and cross-sectoral risks of trade liberalization and provides practical recommendations for a balanced trade policy.

This study shows the role and necessity of multilateral and regional trade
agreements in the economic development of Uzbekistan, the advantages of trade agreements. The article also reflects the export of goods and services with the main partner countries. This article analyzes and studies the role of taxes in foreign trade operations, as well as the forecast of gross domestic product for 2025-2027, statistical data on indirect revenues of the State Budget for 2022-2024, namely value added tax, excise tax and customs duties. Also, scientific discussions were held and proposals were made to study the importance of taxes in foreign trade operations.

This article examines the state of the movement of commodity and material resources in the commodity market of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015–2024, the dynamics of macroeconomic indicators and the composition of foreign trade using comparative and statistical analysis methods. The main objective of the study is to assess structural changes in the commodity market, identify existing problems related to logistics and import dependence, and develop scientifically based recommendations for the development of the sector. The results of the analysis show that during the period under study, the country's GDP increased by 72.6%, and foreign trade turnover by 177%. In addition, the volume of digital trade increased by an average annual rate of 40.2%, becoming the most promising segment of the commodity market. At the same time, systemic problems such as the high share of raw materials in the export structure, high logistics costs, and economic disparity between regions (a 6.3-fold difference between the city of Tashkent and Karakalpakstan) remained. The research findings developed practical proposals aimed at improving import substitution policies, developing logistics infrastructure, and reducing regional inequality.

This article analyzes the economic significance of customs services and their role in supporting entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan amid expanding trade flows and increasingly complex supply and logistics chains. The relevance of the study is explained by growing demands for faster customs clearance, greater transparency and security, the need to improve the risk management system, and the wider adoption of digital solutions. This article analyzes the main directions for fundamentally improving the investment climate in Uzbekistan. In particular, it emphasizes the importance of such factors as strengthening and stabilizing the legislative framework, providing reliable guarantees of investors’ property rights, combating corruption, and reducing administrative barriers. It also examines issues related to offering tax and customs benefits, deepening public-private partnership (PPP) and privatization processes, modernizing transport and energy infrastructure, training qualified personnel, pursuing digital transformation, and expanding international trade cooperation. This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of special economic zones, and presents the different aspects of free economic and special economic zones. The purpose of the article is to research the foreign trade policy from a scientific point of view, which has achieved an "economic miracle" through the formation of special economic zones in the world economy, that is, the organization and development of the activities of special economic zones in the world economy, and the development of the national economy. on the basis of summarizing its positive aspects, it is to develop proposals for the establishment of special economic zones in Uzbekistan and its development prospects, as well as the possibilities of using the world experience in the establishment of special economic zones in Uzbekistan. As a result of the research, the following conclusions and proposals were formed: free economic zones are also a type of special economic zones, and free zones describe the activity of free ports; in the practice of foreign countries, free trade zones, free production zones, free economic zones, technological-innovation parks and other types of special economic zones are widely used.

In the process of expanding foreign economic relations of Uzbekistan, the article examines the ways of coordinating the organizational basis of coordination relations and the mechanisms for their development within the framework of the cooperation development system associated with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
