The concept of sustainable development is currently gaining increasing importance and relevance. A deeper understanding of its essence, specific features, and the necessary conditions for its formation requires an analysis of the stages of its development. The evolution of the sustainable development concept has occurred gradually as humanity has become increasingly aware of the significance of economic, social, and environmental challenges that may significantly affect the quality of life of the global population. This article examines and systematizes the approaches of national and international scholars to the evolution of the sustainable development concept, proposes the author’s interpretation of its periodization, and highlights the importance of this concept for the development of sustainable development strategies at the enterprise level.

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the development trends of electronic money and digital payment systems in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as their impact on the national economy. Within the scope of the study, economic, technological, and social factors influencing the growth of electronic money deposits during the period 2017–2024 were examined. In particular, the interrelationships between indicators such as the number of plastic cards, the volume of electronic payment transactions, bank deposits, and the network of payment terminals were assessed using correlation and regression analysis. In addition, the evolution of electronic money, the stages of development of plastic cards and digital payment systems, and their impact on economic efficiency were analyzed. The research results indicate that the reduction of transaction costs, the increase in financial transparency, and the expansion of financial inclusion are the main economic advantages of the electronic payment infrastructure. At the same time, cybersecurity issues associated with the development of digital financial infrastructure, including threats of cyberattacks such as phishing, malware, and DDoS attacks, were also examined. Based on the obtained results, forecast indicators for the development of electronic payments and electronic deposits for the period 2025–2029 were developed. The findings of the study demonstrate that electronic money and digital payment systems play a significant role in increasing economic efficiency, strengthening financial control, and promoting the development of the digital economy. Furthermore, the study substantiates the necessity of improving cybersecurity systems and enhancing the digital literacy of the population in order to ensure the sustainable development of the digital financial infrastructure.

This article analyzes the regulatory legal framework related to the National Sustainable Development Goals (NSDG) and evaluates the current state of budget expenditure tagging aligned with these goals. It highlights potential challenges in tagging budget expenditures to correspond with the NSDG and proposes recommendations for implementing a structured tagging procedure. Additionally, the article emphasizes the importance of integrating the tagging process with specific tasks under the NSDG framework, rather than focusing solely on overarching goals. This approach facilitates data-driven decision-making by enabling targeted allocation of funds, identifying NSDG areas that require additional financing, and assessing the effectiveness of expenditures. Examples are provided to illustrate how task-oriented tagging enhances budget planning and resource utilization.
For the sustainable and accelerated development of regions in Uzbekistan, it is advisable to introduce a unified system for assessing their comprehensive balanced development, the efficiency of resource utilization, economic, investment, and financial potential, to provide the necessary financial resources and opportunities for regional development, to further enhance the financial independence of local government bodies, and to further expand the scope of scientific research on developing and implementing strategies to ensure the completeness of local budget revenues. The article examines the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its development in the context of modern economic, social, and environmental challenges. The author analyzes the historical development of CSR, starting from the works of Howard Bowen and Archie Carroll, and considers international standards such as ISO 26000:2010. The research methodology includes a comparative analysis of international and national CSR implementation practices. The article emphasizes that companies view social projects as investments that contribute to competitive advantages and sustainable development. Examples of successful companies are provided, and barriers to CSR development in Uzbekistan are analyzed, along with proposed solutions to overcome them.

In addition, the article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the types of transport and their shares in the volume of foreign trade. Then, the role of railway transport in increasing the export potential was determined and proposals for the development of railway transport were developed

This article analyses the theoretical and practical foundations of introducing advanced foreign experiences in the process of human capital development in Uzbekistan. Global reforms, internal problems of Uzbekistan and state policy on their solution are analysed. Factors affecting human capital are divided into groups on education, health, labour market, innovation and institutional development, and are illustrated with quotes. The methodology describes the methods for calculating the Human Capital Index (HCI) and Human Development Index (HDI), international and national databases. The results and analysis section compares Uzbekistan’s HCI and HDI indicators with those of foreign countries. The discussion section provides ways to adapt foreign experiences to the conditions of Uzbekistan.

This article examines the main indicators of the hotel sector’s development in Uzbekistan, analyzing current trends and future prospects of the industry. The study is based on official statistical data from recent years,information from theautomated specialized guest registration system of accommodation facilities, as well as a survey conducted among representatives of the hotel sector to identify factors influencing the dynamics of the hospitality market. The findings make it possible to outline key directions for further improvement and development of the sector within the framework of the national tourism industry strategy.

This article analyzes the role of the IT sector in enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy under the conditions of globalization. Digital transformation is considered a key factor in economic modernization, export potential growth, and human capital development. The article examines current trends in the global IT market and highlights efforts to develop digital infrastructure in the Republic of Uzbekistan, particularly through the example of the Tashkent IT Park. Statistical data on the structure of ICT services, export volumes, and employment levels are presented. The importance of government support, investment in education, and the training of IT specialists is emphasized. In conclusion, strategic directions are proposed for developing a “knowledge economy” and integrating the IT sector into the global digital space.
