This article presents modern trends in the development of foreign economic
relations of the region, strategies and practices aimed at strengthening economic ties between countries and regions, as well as globalization and integration of these modern trends, digital economy, sustainable development, development of transport, logistics infrastructure, innovation and technological progress. These trends are the main factors in the development of interregional economic relations, which serve to ensure economic growth, increase trade and investment flows, and support sustainable development. In our country, these trends play an important role in ensuring the country's economic stability and increasing its competitiveness in international
trade.

The impact of foreign trade liberalization on the competitive environment in the country's economy is theoretically studied, and the effect of changes in import tariffs on the development of competition in the economy and the positive change in foreign trade are analyzed by using the OECD product market regulation indicator.

In this article, the foreign trade activities of the districts of Khorezm region have been thoroughly analyzed. The foreign trade potential and existing challenges of each district have been studied, and based on the findings, relevant conclusions and recommendations have been provided.

The article also describes in what cases and for what purposes the state resorts to debt obligations. The article analyzes the economic and financial situation of the debts received by Uzbekistan, and indicates from which countries and foreign financial institutions the amount of debt was received. It also provides a statistical analysis of the sectors and areas to which debt obligations received by Uzbekistan are directed.

This article analyzes the demographic impact of external labor migration on the population dynamics of Uzbekistan. Such factors as territorial imbalances arising as a result of migration, an increase in birth rates, and an increase in the working-age population were studied on the basis of statistical methods. Due to its efforts since 2017 to liberalize foreign trade, enhance diplomatic relations, and attract foreign investment, the Republic of Uzbekistan has become an active participant in the global economy. Notably, there has been significant growth in cooperation with economically developed partners such as the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany in the areas of trade, investment, and social development. This article analyzes the foreign economic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as the level of trade and economic integration between the two countries. The study explores existing opportunities for deepening bilateral cooperation. In addition, the article provides detailed information on new initiatives and projects, and discusses the potential outcomes that could be achieved in the future.

This article analyzes the economic significance of customs services and their role in supporting entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan amid expanding trade flows and increasingly complex supply and logistics chains. The relevance of the study is explained by growing demands for faster customs clearance, greater transparency and security, the need to improve the risk management system, and the wider adoption of digital solutions. The research approach combines a review of relevant academic literature, an analysis of regulatory and legal documents, and descriptive–dynamic comparative analysis based on official statistics. The results indicate rising concentration in the structure of imports and exports and an increase in associated risks, thereby substantiating policy directions focused on risk-based control, automation, and the reduction of the “human factor.” The author interprets customs authorities as a strategic trade infrastructure and provides practical recommendations. The study’s scientific contribution lies in systematizing the mechanisms through which customs services facilitate trade, identifying key indicators, and proposing areas for improving practical reform measures.

This article examines the state of the movement of commodity and material resources in the commodity market of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015–2024, the dynamics of macroeconomic indicators and the composition of foreign trade using comparative and statistical analysis methods. The main objective of the study is to assess structural changes in the commodity market, identify existing problems related to logistics and import dependence, and develop scientifically based recommendations for the development of the sector. The results of the analysis show that during the period under study, the country's GDP increased by 72.6%, and foreign trade turnover by 177%. In addition, the volume of digital trade increased by an average annual rate of 40.2%, becoming the most promising segment of the commodity market. At the same time, systemic problems such as the high share of raw materials in the export structure, high logistics costs, and economic disparity between regions (a 6.3-fold difference between the city of Tashkent and Karakalpakstan) remained. The research findings developed practical proposals aimed at improving import substitution policies, developing logistics infrastructure, and reducing regional inequality.

This article examines the concept of profit, how it is formed and the factors that influence it. Profit is affected by many factors, and they were divided into two groups: external and internal factors. Bank profit is formed on the basis of the bank's credit, deposit, settlement and other types of banking activities. Traditionally, the largest share falls on the margin, that is, the difference between deposit and credit interest. The scientific work also examines and analyzes the practical data of the entire banking system throughout 2023. Based on these data, the largest share of the income item, as well as expenses, was determined. In addition, it is possible to observe the dynamics of increase and decrease in interest and non-interest income.
