Behavioral finance, which has recently entered the fields of finance and economics with a fresh perspective, challenges the traditional economic concepts of rational decision-making. This field emphasizes that to conduct more accurate analyses in economics, it is necessary to account for human psychological decisions, cognitive biases, and the role of emotions in decision-making. By considering the limitations of available opportunities and the diversity of choices, behavioral finance shows that we can gain more insights into market participants. These shifts can have a significant impact across various sectors and contribute to more precise decision-making at the national level, enhancing the financial well-being of the state and its citizens.
Linear models has been a powerful econometric tool used to show the relationship between two or more variables. Many studies also use linear approximation for nonlinear cases as it still might show valid results. OLS method requires the relationship of dependent and independent variables to be linear, although many studies employ OLS approximation even for nonlinear cases. In this study, we are introducing alternative method of intervals estimation, bootstrap, in linear regressions when the relationship is nonlinear. We compare the traditional and bootstrap confidence intervals when data has nonlinear relationship. As we need to know the true parameters, we carry out a simulation study. Our research findings indicate that when error term has non-normal shape, bootstrap interval will outperform the traditional method due to no distributional assumption and wider interval width
This article compares traditional and modern needs for medical services, analyzes innovative trends in the development of the medical services sector, and examines characteristics of traditional and modern trends in medical service provision processes. OLS regressions have a set of assumption in order to have its point and interval estimates to be unbiased and efficient. Data missing not at random (MNAR) can pose serious estimations issues in the linear regression. In this study we evaluate the performance of OLS confidence interval estimates with MNAR data. We also suggest bootstrapping as a remedy for such data cases and compare the traditional confidence intervals against bootstrap ones. As we need to know the true parameters, we carry out a simulations study. Research results indicate that both approaches show similar results having similar intervals size. Given that bootstrap required a lot of computations, traditional methods is still recommended to be used even in case of MNAR
Confidence interval estimations in linear models have been of large interest in social science. However, traditional approach of building confidence intervals has a set of assumption including dataset having no extreme outliers. In this study, we discuss presence of severe outliers in linear models and suggest bootstrap approach as an alternative way to construct confidence intervals. We conclude that bootstrap confidence intervals can outperform traditional confidence intervals in presence of outliers when sample size is small or population distribution is not normal. Lastly, we encourage researchers to run a computer simulation to evaluate conclusions of this study.
An Islamic window is a separate branch, department or subsidiary of a bank operating under the principles of Islamic finance under traditional banks. The Islamic branch mainly operates in conditions where there is no legal basis for the activity of an Islamic bank, subject to any commercial bank within the framework of certain laws. We have analyzed about 25 articles on Islamic windows in this study. In the analysis, we mainly conducted a scientific research on the statistical analysis between the Islamic bank, the Islamic window and the traditional bank, their achievements, shortcomings and the quality of service and gave the necessary suggestions.

The export of services plays a crucial role in enhancing the export potential of Central Asian countries and diversifying their export portfolios. This article presents an econometric analysis of the key factors influencing service exports, utilizing statistical data from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan from 2000 to 2021. The analysis employs various methodologies, including fixed effects, random effects, GLS, and fixed effects with Driscoll-Kraay standard errors. The findings reveal that UNCTAD's ICT index and the category "Private Sector," along with GDP per capita, significantly contribute to the growth of services exports in Central Asian countries. On the other hand, population size negatively affects the volume of services exported by the countries analyzed.
