The article studies the issue of assessing the effectiveness of education quality management in higher education institutions based on the primary employment of graduates. The sharp increase in the number of institutions, students and graduates in the higher education system of Uzbekistan in 2015–2025 has increased the need to assess the quality of education not only through internal processes, but also through results in the labor market. The study establishes the primary employment of graduates by personnel customers as an external indicator of the practicality of educational programs, their compliance with the needs of employers and the effectiveness of management decisions. The econometric approach shows the possibility of assessing institutional, resource and labor market factors affecting this indicator. The results justify the need to develop education quality management through KPIs, forecasting, targeted resource allocation, and improved cooperation with employers. The results of the article have practical significance for strengthening employment monitoring and making strategic decisions

Issues related to the recognition, assessment and accounting of construction and repair costs are studied using the example of a higher education institution. Important aspects of documentation and accounting in ensuring control over construction and repair costs are presented. Problematic and controversial situations related to construction and repair cost accounting in higher education institutions are studied and their negative consequences are presented. Proposals and recommendations are formulated to improve construction and repair cost accounting in higher education institutions.
This article analyzes the management directions of training competitive specialists based on the integration of higher education and the labor market. The study highlights the importance of aligning the content of education with modern labor market requirements and strengthening effective cooperation between higher education institutions and industrial enterprises. The key competencies of competitive specialists-professional qualifications, innovative thinking, effective use of information technologies, and foreign language proficiency are identified. The article analyzes the trend in the development of higher education marketing in Uzbekistan at the present stage, which showed a significant increase in the number of universities and students enrolled in them, while reducing the proportion of students per teacher, which indicates an increase in the efficiency of the resources of the higher education system, reflecting the effectiveness of ongoing reforms. The main goal of the latter is to increase the accessibility and quality of higher education, integrate the national system into the international educational space, train personnel in demand in the labor market, which is designed to ensure the further development of the socio-educational sphere of Uzbekistan.
This article analyzes the impact of digital technologies on improving the efficiency and quality of educational services in higher education. The study aims to identify the main areas and mechanisms for using digital tools in the educational and management activities of higher education institutions. The methodological framework utilizes systems and process approaches, as well as comparative and substantive analysis of normative and empirical data. This study focuses on identifying key success factors in the implementation of active learning models in higher education. The research analyzes the pedagogical foundations of active learning approaches (problem-based learning, project-based learning, collaborative learning, flipped classroom), as well as institutional, methodological, and technological conditions for their effective application. Based on international and national literature, a systematic framework of success factors is developed. The findings contribute to improving teaching quality and promoting competency-based education in higher education institutions

TQM is a management philosophy emphasizing continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and employee involvement. The study analyzes the implementation of TQM in the higher education system, its benefits, and the challenges encountered. The findings, based on a case study approach, indicate that when effectively implemented, TQM principles can significantly enhance the quality of education and institutional management. However, successful implementation requires strong leadership, cultural change, and stakeholder engagement.

This article empirically analyses the relationship between the Revenue Diversification Coefficient (RDC) and financial independence using official data from 38 OECD member countries. It has been established that RDC values vary significantly across countries, and that highly diversified systems weathered the 2008–2012 financial crisis with three times less financial damage. Based on international comparative analysis, recommendations have been developed for introducing RDC monitoring and expanding revenue sources in Uzbekistan's higher education institutions

This article analyzes the current state of educational tourism infrastructure in Uzbekistan and highlights development opportunities and existing problems in this area. The article analyzes statistics of foreign students, international rankings of higher education institutions and infrastructure capabilities, and identifies development areas necessary to increase the attractiveness of Uzbekistan as a center for educational tourism. The article offers proposals for adapting to international education standards, improving quality and expanding infrastructure, including dormitories and digital educational platforms. The article also provides recommendations for increasing the competitiveness of Uzbekistan in the global educational tourism market through strategic investments, support for regional infrastructure and marketing activities.

International university rankings have become strong tools of governance that impact strategic institutional policies and higher education reforms on the global front. In the case of emerging systems like Uzbekistan, rankings are a challenge as well as a chance to be recognized in the world. This paper presents the response of universities in Uzbekistan to the ranking pressures based on interviews with administrators of a public, private, and international branch campus university, and review of national policy documents. The results leave a very clear picture of contrasts between the private and international universities: international branding, autonomy in decision-making, and research incentives are indicators of structured approaches to ranking whereas bureaucratic rigidity, lack of autonomy, and inadequate allocation of resources characterize universities in public. The more important determinant of competitiveness turns out to be governance capacity, not ambition. The paper concludes that to achieve sustainable progress in rankings, reforms to governance are needed that increase autonomy, accountability, and institutional capacity and integrate rankings into larger education, research, and development missions.
This article discusses the importance of developing critical thinking and intercultural competence when studying English in higher education. According to the author, current EFL (English as a Foreign Language) textbooks often present cultural knowledge in the form of static facts, and this in turn limits analytical activity and traditional teaching methods hinder the development of necessary skills. The study emphasizes the need to revise textbooks, improve teacher training, and introduce alternative assessment methods to develop deeper intercultural understanding and critical discourse.
Thisscientific article comprehensively analyzes the main factors affecting the employment of competent specialists in the labor market. The study examines the relationship between the requirements of the labor market in the modern economic environment, the efficiency of the higher education system, the level of professional and practical competencies, digital skills, employers' requirements for personnel and state employment policy. The Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Statistics Committee, reports of international organizations (ILO, OECD, World Bank) and the results of a survey among 300 graduates of higher educational institutions. The article argues that, along with theoretical knowledge, practical training, flexibility, initiative and the ability to work with modern technologies are important factors in increasing the competitiveness of competent specialists. The relative weighting of the factors affecting employment was quantified using correlation and regression analysis. The article concludes with scientific and practical conclusions and proposals aimed at increasing the share of qualified personnel in the labor market, expanding the employability of graduates and strengthening the integration of education with practice

Entrepreneurial universities enhance traditional research universities by fostering stronger connections with society. They integrate education, research, and industry, leveraging real-world challenges to help graduates address unemployment. Uzbekistan's Higher Education Development Concept until 2030 sets the goal of ranking among the top 50 countries in the Global Innovation Index by 2030. In this context, the significance of entrepreneurial universities is emphasized as a key factor.
