Abstract

This article analyzes the geographical directions of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade and their development trends in recent years. The study examines the structure of the country’s exports by regions and major trading partners, while highlighting the economic significance of export market diversification. In addition, the current state of trade relations within the frameworks of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the European Union (EU), and other international economic cooperation organizations is assessed. The findings reveal that Russia, China, Kazakhstan, and Türkiye remain the leading destinations for Uzbekistan’s exports, while the process of entering new markets and expanding the geographical scope of exports has intensified. Based on the results of the study, recommendations have been developed to improve foreign trade efficiency, diversify the export structure, and enhance competitiveness in international markets
